While working for a couple of the local PREMIER whitewater rafting companies as a river guide, owner Tom Williams saw the biking industry take off. It happened right before his very eyes. While guiding people down the Class 3 Whitewater Lehigh River, there was the world-famous Lehigh Gorge Bike Trail! This #1 frequented Rail Trial (www.RailstoTrails.org)) has majestic views, natural wonders and historical significance. As a result, the business was born. The rest is history!

Pocono Outdoors LLC shuts down it’s Poconos based operations in November. The business is closed during winter months and early spring. Ownership and management go to either ends of the globe searching the Ahhs of Winter out West and; Summer Down Under.

Formerly Pocono Bike Rental, it is easy to find in the heart of the Poconos; To get to the White Haven pickup spot use Interstate 80 or PA Turnpike 476. Then take PA Route 940. In minutes you arrive at: Lehigh Gorge State Park – White Haven, PA 18661, (link opens Google Maps).
We are located at both ends of the Lehigh Gorge Trail. In particular, we offer our Premier Bike Rentals and VIP Shuttle Pickup Service near the south end of the Lehigh Gorge State Park in Glen Onoko – Jim Thorpe, PA.
We are also the ONLY Mobile bike rental VIP delivery service in the Poconos. In addition, we also are operating south of Jim Thorpe in towns like Lehighton, Bowmanstown, Lehigh Gap and Slatington.
