Recommended items to bring:
- Bottled water and Lunch (sandwiches, snacks, drinks, dry storage will be provided)
- High SPF sunscreen (the sun reflecting off the water increases sun exposure)
- Water shoes closed toe or strapped sandals. (NO Flip flops they WILL fall off)
- Eyeglass or Sunglasses Strap (if applicable), Hat with visor (if sun sensitive)
- Bathing suit (worn under shorts and a t shirt)
- Any personal medications or necessary nutritional supplements.
- In the event of cloudy, rainy and/or cold conditions a windbreaker or rain jacket, fleece and a wool sweater or technical top. Do not wear cotton clothing in cooler weather!
Pocono Outdoors LLC Watersports Partner is Extreme Adventure Travel – (Riverview Bike Rentals – Whitewater Rafting – River Tubing), operating with a permit from East Penn Township, inside the newly upgraded Riverview Recreation Park and Campground you get shuttled from here to the Majestic and Magnificent Lehigh Gorge in Jim Thorpe, PA. You will see large shuttle vans near the far-right side of the parking lot by the new bathrooms; there will be Blue Pop-Up Check in Tent, please go there!
This newly redesigned East Penn Township Riverview Park; has a Cool Playground, Disc Golf, Public Boat Launch, Campground and the D&L Bike Trail. It’s located just off of Launch Road.
